Ir. Nick Breuer graduated in 2021 from Eindhoven University of Technology, completing the master Molecular Systems and Materials Chemistry.
His research on temperature responsive hydrogel particles has allowed him to gain experience with hydrogel systems, focusing on characterization of thermo-mechanical and water sorption properties. A core focus of his scientific interests is the connection between molecular and macroscopic properties of polymer-based systems.
“In the position of R&D Scientist at Hy2Care, I want to put my knowledge of chemistry and skills in synthesis and characterization of materials into practice. My involvement in the development of this fascinating hydrogel technology is not just rewarding from a scientific point of view. It allows me to really make a positive change for many people, as it could prevent discomfort resulting from developing osteoarthritis in the long run. I am excited to be a part of this vibrant, and dedicated team.”
