I am interested in joining the clinical trial. How can I sign up?
Our current clinical trial is fully enrolled and has been completed. Please keep an eye on our website for updates on future clinical trials.
I have worn-out knees and want to avoid a knee replacement. Can the CartRevive hydrogel implant be an alternative?
Unfortunately, no. The CartRevive hydrogel implant is not a substitute for a knee replacement. It is specifically designed to repair early-stage, trauma-related cartilage damage in joints. If large areas of cartilage are already missing, our current implant cannot offer a solution.
I have osteoarthritis or cartilage damage in a joint other than the knee. Can the CartRevive hydrogel implant be used elsewhere?
We aim to expand the use of the implant to treat cartilage damage in other joints in the future—starting with the kneecap and the hip. However, more research is needed before this becomes possible. For the latest developments, please check our website regularly.
I am in a lot of pain. Can I get an injection with your product?
The CartRevive hydrogel implant is not an injectable treatment. It must be placed through a (minimally invasive) surgical procedure, followed by a rehabilitation program. It is not comparable to a pain-relieving injection.
When will the CartRevive hydrogel implant be available to everyone?
If everything goes according to plan, the CartRevive hydrogel implant will be available throughout the European Union starting in the second half of 2026. Whether the procedure will be reimbursed depends on national healthcare systems and insurance providers. Stay tuned to our website for updates.
